Creating an IC API account
To start using the IC API, you'll need to create an account on the Instant Cash API platform. To create your account:
- Visit the Instant Cash API website https://www.instantcashworldwide.com/ and navigate to Developer Hub and sign up for an account (For future use. For now, the Implementation Team will provide the Developer Hub link directly).
- Fill out the required fields including your name, email address, and password.
- Agree to the terms and conditions, and click the 'Sign Up' button to complete the process.
- Check your email for a confirmation message, and click the activation link to verify your account.
Obtaining API Credentials and Subscription Key
After activating your account, you'll need to obtain API credentials and a subscription key to authenticate your API requests. To obtain these, follow these steps:
- Log in to your IC API account and navigate to the API credentials section.
- Here, you'll find your API username and password. Make sure to keep these credentials secure, as they will be used for authentication.
- Navigate to the subscription management section and generate a new subscription key. This key is also required for authentication and managing your API subscription.
Setting up Your Development Environment
To set up your development environment for integrating the IC API, follow these steps:
- Choose a programming language and an environment that supports making HTTP requests and handling JSON responses.
- Install any necessary libraries or SDKs to facilitate making API requests and handling responses.
- Ensure that you have a secure method for storing your API credentials and subscription key, such as using environment variables or a secure credential storage service.

- Initiate the onboarding process as a UAT or production user.
- New developer credentials will be issued to you and you can initiate requests via any platform of your choice.
